Theme of Twenty Twenty One

New year goals are always the trend as soon as January hits. Gyms are full of new membership signups, we eat up diets ideas, and everyone is looking to improve themselves. Instead of overreaching for specific goals for the new year, take time to reflect on an overarching theme of the year that you would like to pursue.

If losing weight and building muscle is what you want to push yourself to do, try evaluating having a health theme, where not just the number on the scale is what you obsess over, but your overall wellbeing and health is your focus. This theme can cover losing weight, your diet, mental wellness, and life balance.

When not cornered to exact specifics, there is room for growth. With growth comes times of failure, but when your viewpoint is broader, your perspective changes. This different view allows us to take the year in as a marathon rather than a sprint.
